 As we head into the month of February we are blanketed in a very thick coat of white.

I look out my front window and it sort of has a serene Thomas Kincade portrait feel. I am sitting at home and thought I would get out the news of some activities coming upon us quickly. You can always catch updated information at the website at ParkCrestBaptist.org.
This Sunday...
Will be our 1st PCBC Bowl and it kicks off with Sunday school at 9 am. Be sure to be in your place so that our AFC & NFC teams get their max points. After the AM Worship service, we will serve "Stadium" food (hot-dogs, nacho's, etc.) in the gymnasium and we have some friendly competition from our Sunday school representatives. Be sure to join us for this great time. By the way...we will not have any PM service this coming Sunday.
Our Faith Forward Offering/Commitment, Business meeting and Deacon Elections
Sunday, February 13th will be a special day for many reasons. Through the course of the last several months, we have encouraged all of the Park Crest family to be in prayer regarding what the Lord would have them do in their support of our Building Fund of their church. On this day we will receive an offering and/or 1 year commit for this fund. In the evening service we will have our annual business meeting and discuss our Financial, Numerical & Spiritual report for 2010. I personally am excited to give you the details of this time at Park Crest. In this meeting, we will also vote for Deacons that will step into the 4 positions that have fulfilled their term of service. Be sure to see the bulletin this week for details of those on the ballot for our 2011 Deacons.
We are putting together details of an activity for our children during this time so that our AWANA workers are able to attend the services.
 There's a Special Guest that will join us...
Jerry Thorpe will join us February 27th in our AM and PM services as we wrap up our Family Month. Jerry is a former Pastor and great speaker that you will enjoy. He'll speak to the older Sunday school classes together as he encourages us from God's word.
It's TIME...
Our Annual missions conference starts March 2nd and runs through March 7th. We'll get to meet 3 new missionary couples...

We'll have a a movie night, great insight interviews and heart the heart of these great Missionaries. To top the conference off, we'll have a celebration banquet. Be listening in services for more details.

Right Around the Corner
Our summer will be in full swing with Vacation Bible School and camps. Let's continue to reach our co-workers and neighbors for Christ. It is exciting to see what the Lord is doing and I am also excited to see where the Lord is taking us.
