Beach Week Info Sheet

Camp Name: Beach Week 2025
Dates: July 20 – 25, 2025
Location: Panama City Beach, Florida
Final Cost: $275 (for the first 40 students registered)
Registration: Students need to register ASAP to secure this rate.

Travel Details:

• Arrival Time at Church: 8:30 AM on Sunday, July 20

• Return: July 25th Late friday night 9-10 pm but we will post updates on our way home to the parents of parkcrest HS students page. And ask the students to text their ride as we get closer. 

• Check-in Includes (in the High School Room inside the Student Ministries Building):

  • Confirm full payment

  • Drop off luggage (outside the Student Ministries Building)

  • Check in any medications with our registered nurse, Mrs. Lynette Cummings

  • Eat breakfast (provided) & talk through camp expectations

• Main Worship Service: Students will attend main worship service together

• After Service:

  • Parents and students return to the High School Room in the Student Ministries Building

  • Lunch provided for students

  • Load charter bus

  • Depart for Tupelo, MS (overnight stay at Harrisburg Baptist Church)

Overnight Stop:

• Where: Harrisburg Baptist Church, Tupelo, MS

• Note: Students will sleep on the floor – bring a sleeping bag or an air mattress (must fit in one of their bags – see packing limit below)

Luggage Guidelines:

• Limit: 1 large luggage bag + 1 good-sized carry-on duffle bag

• Clothing, bedding, and any other items must fit within this limit

Lodging at Camp:

• Students will sleep in twin beds

• Bring twin-size bedding or a sleeping bag

Phone Policy:

• Students may use phones during travel to and from camp

• Once we arrive at camp, phones will be turned in to the leader in their room

• Students may ask to use their phone to contact home

Swimwear Guidelines:

• Girls: One-piece swimsuits preferred; if wearing a two-piece, it must cover well

• Boys: No short shorts – Chase will make fun of you and then make you change 😂

Camp Nurse:

• Nurse: Mrs. Lynette Cummings (Registered Nurse)

• She’s served for 5–6 years and does a great job!

• Meals on the Road:

  • 2 lunches and 2 dinners (on the way down and back)

  • Breakfasts will be provided by the church for both travel days

• Spending Money:

  • Surf shops / beach souvenirs

  • Bowling, roller skating, arcade games at a fun center
