February 24 - April 7th
No Games on March 17th
Teams play 2 games per night

GUIDELINES

  • TEAMS:  Games will be 6-on-6 co-ed, a maximum of 8 people can register per team, there must be at least as many females as males for your team on the court (if your team can only field two females, only two males are permitted to play). After week 3, only people registered with your team can play for your team during your games. If you have a non-registered fill-in, the match can still be played but will be recorded as a forfeit.

  • TEAM LEADERS:  All team leaders must be a member of Park Crest Baptist Church and willing to communicate with their team on a weekly basis, as well as ensure team compliance with league guidelines.

  • MATCHES:  Teams will play 2 matches per night. Each match will be 2 sets to 15 points, winner must win by 2 points. If the match results in a tie, a third set to 7 will be played. Matches may not be played back-to-back depending on the league schedule.

  • COMMITMENT:  When you register your team, please ensure that all members are available for the dates listed. The league schedule is set and determined before Week 1 based on the number of teams that register and games will be canceled if teams drop-out or cannot field a full team.

  • REFEREES:  There are no referees - fouls and rules violations are to be called on an honor system. If a consensus on whether or not a foul occurred cannot be reached, the point will be replayed.

  • CHILDCARE:  Please note that childcare will not be provided before, during, or after the games. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times while in the gym. For safety reasons, children are not allowed to leave the gym unsupervised.

  • BEHAVIOR:  We ask that all participants and their families treat the volunteers running the league, as well as the other players, with kindness and respect. Our volunteers are giving their time to make this season enjoyable for everyone, and it is important that we all follow the league rules and maintain a Christ-like and loving environment. Remember - this is church-league volleyball, not the Olympics.

  • NON-COMPLIANCE:  If these guidelines are not followed, participants may be asked to no longer play in the league.

Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to a fantastic season of volleyball, where everyone can enjoy the games in a respectful and safe environment!
